- Excellent Service and Food
Located in a beautiful space on a slightly gritty Mission block, Citizen Fox is a great addition to the SF vegan food scene. This is be a terrific place to take omnivores. The service was terrific. Our server, Michael, was wonderful and completely patient with our many questions and requests. The manager/host also dropped by our table a time or two to see all was well. The food--mushroom cheese burger, Brussels sprouts, cheesecake, fries--were all delicious. The only less-than-stellar food was the buffalo wings. The sauce was great but the seitan (or whatever the insides were made of) had an unpleasant mushiness. The drinks were very strong. All in all--the best vegan restaurant in SF that I know!
