- Thai cooks in the kitchen
...and that's one great thing about this restaurant, because I've eaten at too many ethnic cuisine restaurants where the cooks in the kitchen are native to those countries and the food don't taste authentic. Here the kitchen knows how to make Thai food. I've eaten here several times and have also gotten delivery on handful of occasions. Here's my LA Vegan review update. The menu is quite extensive and very similar to the other Thai vegan eateries in and around greater LA. To some extent they all "copy" each other. I usually get the tom ka khai with mock chicken (coconut and mushroom soup); it's pretty taste. My new favorite is the fried rice but with white rice instead of brown. Curries are usually good. Pancake is a flop (mushy inside). Note that the Thai food is only mildly spicy, made for American taste buds.
