- A few wrinkles to iron out
On a cross-country road trip, we took a break from the interstate to find this place. The juices are top-notch. The other menu items could be expanded b/c honestly people can go to Pita Pit (just off the interstate) and get wraps that are about the same or better than what's on your menu. When we came in, there were people sitting down at a table and 3 people standing/hovering over the small bar area where it looked like you were supposed to place your order. There was one dude running the whole place. We waited and waited. There was no sign when you first walk in that tells you the protocol. Something like "Place your order at the counter then grab a table." or a sign over the counter like "order here" or "seat yourself" would have been helpful. At a minimum, when you walk into a situation like that the person behind the counter should recognize the fact that you've walked in and at least greet you. Something like "have a seat and I'll be with you as soon as I finish this up" or ANYTHING. We were not acknowledged. I could tell the dude was overwhelmed having 6 people in there at once but you need a plan for that. Most people are happy to wait as long as they realize you will be attending to them as soon as you can. Despite the difficulties above, this place is a breath of fresh air in a part of the country that loves its steaks and hunting. I will definitely be back. note: restaurant is hidden in a small strip mall and has a massage place next to it and a health food store just across the hallway.
