  • yummy Asian food

I got takeaway there while travelling. They are very quick, not expensive (€10 for a starter and main) and the food tastes very good! I loved the steamed dumplings filled with vegetables, however, strangely enough, they tasted sweet so I had them for dessert instead of as a starter. I wonder if I just accidentally ordered a different dish but could not see any sweet steamed dumplings on the menu. I did not like the website because even though everything was marked very clearly (some dishes have like 8 numbers so you have to check what every one of them means), I felt like a simple V for vegan or so would have made it easier to find vegan options. Also, I could not find anything on the website that said it was a vegetarian restaurant. However, the very helpful man behind the counter explained that they are 100% vegetarian and almost completely vegan. The website lists 2 desserts, eg bananas baked with honey. In their menu the same dish is listed as bananas baked with agave syrup (which makes it vegan). All in all, it was a very delicious experience though and I will definitely go there again next time I am in Düsseldorf. The chop suey was very nice, very flavourful and came with a lot of vegetables. The mock duck was amazing and the vegan meat ball (Frikadelle which is a flat kind of meat ball) was good. Definitely worth going there!
