- Favourite food in rome
We love this place. It's our special place for celebrations and anniversaries. We always get the large thali (made vegan) which is usually too much food by the end of the meal but looking at the other dishes served at nearby tables all the dishes look delicious. We've both spent a lot of time in India and have studied ayurveda and love what this place is about - from the opening dips to the accompanying juice (so flavoursome) to the main dish and dessert. Even the digestive tea to finish is served in a beautiful tea pot and is perfect. The service has always been very polite and helped us as we still learn Italian. The waiter sometimes explains the dish and ingredients. In the other room there is an Indian / yoga library which one can become a member of very easily and there are often lectures taking place which totally add to the charm of the place and the ambience is lovely and intimate. It is vegetarian with the option to be made vegan which was perfect. Out of 6 desserts I think 4 or 5 were vegan. Couldn't recommend it any more!
