- Excellent for the freshest produce in town!
I love farmers markets. All of them. In the summer, I go to the Kits one. In winter, to the one at Nat Bailey stadium. Many of the vendors are the same, except they only sell local and in season fruit and veg. We have bought the best veggies at both markets and continue to go there to shop for the freshest produce. The vendors are very friendly and know where their food comes from and how it is grown. The salads are out of this world, nothing like the stuff you find at supermarkets. You will also find fresh bread from various vendors, nuts and nut products, jams etc... Many vegetarian and vegan options too. What's not to love there.
