  • Good food, good atmosphere

I went to Aux Vivres twice during a recent trip to Montreal. The first time I had the "brunch complet" - tofu scramble, tempeh bacon, sweet potato, cornbread and salad, washed down with a cup of chai - and the second time I had the famous BLT chapati and the chocolate banana pie. Both visits were excellent, the staff are friendly and helpful (and all speak English and French), the atmosphere is relaxed and I didn't feel rushed. All in all a great find (thanks HappyCow!) and I definitely recommend it to vegans and non-vegans visiting Montreal, particularly if you're staying in the plateau area.
