- Mixed, but worth at least one visit
Gong De Lin has been around forever, and they seem to be coasting on autopilot. The menu is extensive, and as others have noted it's worth reading other reviews to get a sense of what you might like to try, as there's a lot of variation in quality and flavor (ranging from so-so to good to great). Quality of service depends a lot on who your server is. My first one was brusque and pushy (he really didn't want to let me finish reading the whole menu before I decided), but my second one was gentle and accommodating. The upstairs dining room has more relaxed vibes.
