- Health Food Store
This can be summed up as a small (very small) version of a health food store/co-op that you would typically see in the US. There is no fresh produce, no fresh or prepared food. Only prepackaged items. One location has limited bulk (but I've been told they are discontinuing), and none of the Davao locations have any frozen. So a lot of vitamins, personal care and packaged health foods that (for the most part) you can't find any where else here. The prices are just about exactly twice what you would pay for the same item in the US at full retail. So they are EXTREMELY high priced. I still go there once a week, but the items I buy are very limited. I can't afford to buy many of these items, so I choose to make them myself - hummus, salsa, granola.
