  • Good, but a bit of a challenge for vegans

I ate here in early May 2010 with my vegan wife and our vegan Spanish friend. The place itself, located on the hip and happening Alameda de Hercules, is inviting, with modern decor. The menu has a lot of intriguing things, featuring a good deal of seitan and some fried offerings. I found the food delicious (I am an omnivore), but the vegans at the table were not thrilled that the ubiquitous sides - mashed potatoes, a dollop of cream with the fries - weren't vegan. Many of the entrees were not vegan either. Still, I recommend a trek out to the Alameda during your stay and a meal here.
