With that said, I think health nuts and Chinese food junkies will agree with me when I say that Au Lac is SO YUMMY. Examine the following: The lunch special is a great deal ($4.95 for soup, vegan egg roll, rice, AND an entree), and always so fast. The eggplant tofu is melt-in-your-mouth delicious (this coming from a professed eggplant hater). The menu has a perfect variety of healthier veggie, tofu, and soup dishes and a few fried mock meat and noodle dishes. The staff is super-friendly and I've never waited more than 10 minutes for my order.
