  • Mm..deli, Nottingham

This interesting deli cafe is worth rocking into if you around the Sherwood area in Nottingham's North side. It's open 6 days a week and approx 95% of the products on offer are vegetarian. On the fun side they offer a decision making service. As well doing exactly what it says if you can't make up your mind what to have in your sandwich this is also offered for anyone who says, 'How can you do something without meat?' They also offer a Saturday Special Hangover Panini requiring no explanation of the target audience. More conventionally in the cafe section they offer soups, pasta tubs, cous cous etc on a menu that changes daily. There is a near mind boggling choice of olives on offer on the deli shelves as well as some enormous sized fruit juice bottles. They are supplied by small suppliers who tend not to deal with supermarkets so you are unlikely to find the goods on offer in many other places. Suggested improvements:- 95% vegetarian? See near yet so far. This place is a great little spot; friendly, fun, imaginative and clearly with some ethical consideration in the way it's run. Why not take that a step further and make it 100% vegetarian? If it was 100% I would have rated it higher than the already respectable 3 out of 5. Overall:- See all the good things I've said above. If you are in the area it's well worth checking out. About 50 metres along the street from Roots Natural foods.
