Interesting selection of reviews on JJ. It's been on the tourist trail for years and probably rightly so. The overall opinion is - it's fairly good value. The service (at Cardinal branch) IS awful and it's often in a mess - tables left uncleared etc.. But we've been coming here for years and the food is pretty good and good value. If you want 5 star service go pay 5 star prices. The Hospital branch we found is quicker service......but it simply doesn't have the cachet of the original! Try it at least once in your life. If you want "bulk" go to FrescCo; if you want "home cooking" go to SElf Naturista ; if you want something different, and you like Asian food, go to Govinda (my personal favourite); if you want a "proper" restaurant go to Unicornius. But DO try JJ!
