- Lovely, friendly place for flower tea and dim sum
I've visited Lockcha almost every time I'm in Hong Kong and really enjoy the location (a historic building with beautifully detailed woodwork and nice light with views of the park) friendly atmosphere and fast service. The stir fry noodles were a bit oily but very tasty with mushrooms and mixed veggies and chili sauce is available. Also good is the beancurd sheet with mixed veggies. The warm and delightfully gooey ginger cake made with sticky rice is a real treat. My favorite thing is the large pot of water by every table so afternoon tea can be leisurely and seemingly endless. The tea selections are extensive - The Chrysanthemum flower tea was woodsy, aromatic and nice. The teas are also available for purchase in gift tins.
