- Contemporary vegetarian cuisine?
I have eaten in many vegetarian/vegan establishments and never have I been more disappointed than I am with Henderson's. There is nothing contemporary about their menu. It harkens back to the days of Moosewood Restaurant. Who wants to return to that? Over-cooked, under-flavoured over-priced 70's cuisine. Sloppy salads, dry entrees, boring desserts. For the same price you can have a five star meal at Candle 79 in New York City. Stick to places like the Mosque Kitchen, The Empire Cafe, Jordan Valley. Save your money and enjoy better food.
