As an Edinburgh vegan; Henderson's is very- meh. It's central and reliable- but I'd never get excited to go here. They don't seem to make much effort for vegans, all their vegan mains tend to be things that are already vegan and not that exciting. For example soups, curry's etc. Although the veggie haggis is a delightful novelty! They do however have a good couple of vegan deserts. I've been going here since I was a child and I don't think the menu has ever changed. For some reason I always find the customers incredibly rude and snobby here. Feel sorry for the staff. A new menu with more vegan options would be wonderful!
