- Genius by the Bridge
One of the great beauties of the Shimanami Kaido is what lies beneath it — Ruryon Curry, one of the best, most atmospheric restaurants I've been to in Japan. The curry is delicious and includes a special vegan created curry with amazing sides. Any time I come to the Onomichi/Innoshima area, I will take a bus, plane, spaceship, or just walk in order to come here — really, it's given me some special memories. Best of all is the atmosphere and owners. You are a friend before you walk in the door and can enjoy either a quiet night of delicious food or have a deep talk. I'm lucky I get to write a review of this restaurant. It's very special.
