- Inexpensive, homestyle Ecuadorian cooking
I chanced upon Madre Terra while on my way back from Quinua. It's worth a visit if just to experience some authentic local flavor and atmosphere. Very inexpensive set lunch menus (around $3). I asked if everything was vegan and was told it was, and indeed it was on the day of my visit. I can't be sure if that's true every day, so vegans please ask and let HappyCow know. It's apparently only open for lunch, around 12:30 to 3:30, give or take. Enjoy!
