Yes, there is room for improvement by cutting out dairy. This is also the only vegetarian place on campus (and dependent on student volunteers), so it is currently the best and most accessible option to students. And yeah, it's good for exposure. This was where I had vegan lasagna for the first time and before I'd even considered a vegetarian diet. Same for when I volunteered in their kitchen. I do think Wholefoods is worth supporting / not avoiding if you're at Monash.
