Hello Amymartyn, our team and menu are pretty clear, we actually name or faux proteins with very different names to ensure out kitchen and friends know what they are getting. Our Team member said he asked multiple times if you wanted vegan plant base or regular, and that you asked for regular carne asada, we do not call our vegan plant base proteins carne asada we call them steak as carne = beef, so not sure how you were able to inform the order taker that you wanted carne asada as that name doesn't get used for plant base menu. Our screens do show the plant base menu, our printed menus are also clearly marked as the plant base menu are a different color and in large letters say plant base. Also if you found us with happy cow you will see that our location shows as veg-options (not full vegan) and majority of our review here mentioned that we offer both. Follow us on instagram, facebook or tiktok and we do show some clips on how we wash and clean after every order and we cook to order. Our order taker always tries to also confirm and ask our sunny friends if their order will be vegan or regular, and guides/provides the appropriate menu as we separate both menus the vegan plant base and the animal base. But our focus is plant base which is why you will see them on the screen. Its unfortunate you experienced this miscommunication, and we hope to see you again now that you understand how important the names are and listening to our team when confirming the order, the receipts are pretty clear also as they are written to ensure the team in the kitchen can clearly understand when a meal is vegan plant base.
