But for some reason I did not get on the hemp train until this year. Sure, I&#8217;ve had it in smoothies and dressings at restaurants, but didn&#8217;t start using it on the regular in my own kitchen until a few months ago. Crazy right?!<\/p>\n<p>My two favorite ways to use this amazing seed that has a full range of amino acids, tons of protein per tablespoon, and Omega 3&#8217;s and 6&#8217;s is for smoothies and dressings. I love serving it over a salad or a grain, beans, and greens bowl pictured above!<\/i><\/p>\n<p>4-6 dates, soaked in 1\/2 cup boiled water for 10 minutes<br \/>\n1\/4 cup hemp seeds<br \/>\n2 tablespoons red wine vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)<br \/>\n1 tablespoon white miso<br \/>\n1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger<br \/>\n1\/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)<\/p>\n<p>Directions:<\/p>\n<p>Place all ingredients, including date soaking water, into a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.\u00a0Add more water as needed to get your desired consistency.
