{"id":3205,"date":"2012-03-19T10:11:31","date_gmt":"2012-03-19T17:11:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.happycow.net\/blog\/?p=3205"},"modified":"2012-03-19T10:56:06","modified_gmt":"2012-03-19T17:56:06","slug":"tomato-crumbled-tofu-wgreen-beans-stir-fry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.happycow.net\/blog\/tomato-crumbled-tofu-wgreen-beans-stir-fry\/","title":{"rendered":"Tomato Crumbled Tofu w\/Green Beans Stir-Fry"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2568\" title=\"Meatless Mondays\" src=\"https:\/\/www.happycow.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/MeatlessMondaybanner11.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"180\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.happycow.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/MeatlessMondaybanner11.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.happycow.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/MeatlessMondaybanner11-300x90.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/div>\n<p>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\">I don&#8217;t cook as often as I should, but whenever I do cook, I like making things that are easy or things that I make quite often. \u00a0This dish is something that I make quite often because it is easy, requires minimal ingredients, and my son actually doesn&#8217;t mind eating it. \u00a0It isn&#8217;t an exotic dish or anything, but it is a healthy one.<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<p>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/-um9Zmgn5xoo\/T1FhTbYswiI\/AAAAAAAAAls\/TlZS9pc1viQ\/s1600\/IMG_0524.JPG\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"  rel=\"external nofollow\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: 0pt none;\" src=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/-um9Zmgn5xoo\/T1FhTbYswiI\/AAAAAAAAAls\/TlZS9pc1viQ\/s400\/IMG_0524.JPG\" alt=\"\" width=\"620\" height=\"477\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Ingredients<\/span><\/p>\n<p>1 Tbsp plus 1\/2 Tbsp of Safflower Oil (or any oil)<\/p>\n<p>1\/4 Cup of Onions (chopped)<\/p>\n<p>1 12 oz package of Firm Tofu, drained and crumbled.<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 Tbsp of Paprika<\/p>\n<p>1 1\/2 Tbsp plus 1\/2 Tbsp of Bragg Liquid Aminos<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;\" src=\"http:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.com\/e\/ir?t=ranve-20&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B000QVDSUM\" alt=\"\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>2 Clove of Garlic, chopped.<\/p>\n<p>1 Medium Tomato, cut into small 1 inch pieces.<\/p>\n<p>1 LB of Green Beans, cut into desired length.<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 Tbsp of Filtered Water<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Preparation<\/span><\/p>\n<p>In a large pan, put 1 Tbsp of oil in the pan and coat. \u00a0Carmelized \u00a0the onions in the pan on medium heat. \u00a0Next, put the crumbled tofu into the pan on medium-high heat. \u00a0Mix in the paprika and 1 1\/2 Tbsp of Bragg into the tofu. Stir it\u00a0occasionally\u00a0until all the moisture is gone and it is lightly brown.<\/p>\n<p>Push the tofu to the side of the pan. \u00a0I do this so I only have to use one pan, but can use another pan, if preferred. Add 1\/2 Tbsp of oil into the pan with the garlic and toss around until the garlic is soften. \u00a0Add the \u00a0 the tomato pieces and 1\/2 Tbsp of Bragg into the pan. Stir it around until the tomato pieces are soften. \u00a0Then, mix the tofu and tomatoes together. \u00a0Last, add the green beans with 1\/2 Tbsp of filtered water. \u00a0Stir the ingredients together and cover until the green beans are crisp and tender. \u00a0Serve with rice.<\/p>\n<p>Enjoy! \u2665<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This dish is something that I make quite often because it is easy, requires minimal ingredients, and my son actually doesn&#8217;t mind eating it.
