That\u2019s because we believe food should never come at such a cost to the planet<\/a>. We also believe that a truly good chef can mimic the flavours and textures of seafood by getting creative with planet-friendly<\/a>, plant-based ingredients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clearly, these 10 places are doing it right!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Try the Tofish & Chips at this all-vegan non-profit diner and cocktail bar opened by vegan educator Earthling Ed<\/a>. Besides the star of the menu, the Tofish and Chips, you also get burgers, hot dogs, vegan prawnz, salads, loaded fries, and much more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you\u2019re in Singapore, head over to this plant-based eatery & grocery concept store created by Green Monday. This customer’s review of the ‘Omni<\/a> Golden Fish and Chips’<\/strong> says it all: \u201cOmni<\/a> golden fillet, smash peas, fries, and tartare sauce. The sauce is sooooo good! It would have made a world of a difference without the sauce.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

They are made with heart of palm and seaweed, then crusted in<\/em> @cold_garden<\/em><\/a> dandelion blonde beer batter and served with housemade tartare sauce 🍻👌🏼\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This spot serves “vish & chips” made from plant-based ingredients such as cassava (a starchy root vegetable). Check out their extensive menu of vish as well as their burgers, cauliflower wings, and cakes!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note: This is the only spot on this list that is not 100% vegan. However they have an extensive, separate vegan menu that was launched in November 2018. The menu includes vegan versions of fish, crab cakes, calamari, scampi, prawns, fish fingers, sausages, haggis, and much more. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another fully vegan fish and chips restaurant created by Earthling Ed, this spot has a menu designed to authentically represent that of a traditional British fish and chip shop. Don\u2019t miss the vegan cod & chips, smoked vegan haddock & chips, tofish burger & chips, and the tempura prawnz. Yum!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8.<\/em><\/strong> Sea Ranger<\/em><\/strong><\/a>

Make that a triple yay! Sea Rager offers mock meats like vegan fish and chips, shrimp, tuna, etc., not to mention tacos, sandwiches, patty melts, and burgers. All shakes, root beer, and coke floats are also vegan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

9.<\/em><\/strong> The Liffey<\/em><\/strong><\/a>
Stockholm, Sweden<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you\u2019re in Stockholm and in the mood for vegan fish and chips, you\u2019re in for a treat! Just note that The Liffey is an Irish pub that is not fully vegan, but has clearly marked vegan fish and chips and a vegan burger on the menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
