The creators of WAVE<\/a> wanted to create a place where people could eat tasty, home cooked food away from the hustle of London stress and feel right at home. They are so inspired by home cooking. Every time they make something or eat something amazing they can\u2019t wait to tell each other, trying to recreate childhood meals too, into a modernized vegan\u00a0version. WAVE<\/a> strives for food that gives you more than a full belly. It’s about the colours, the smells and the textures. They have given themselves a project: everything they create needs to feel like there’s nothing missing. They want to show people that vegan food doesn’t mean that something is missing from the meal.<\/p>\n

Offerings include a bircher bowl, pancakes, sandwiches, toasties, freakshakes, smoothies, smoothies bowls, juices, cupcakes, brownies and more.<\/p>\n

The owners have lovingly created WAVE<\/a>, a little hideaway down an alley way off of busy Mare Street in Hackney where people can step into their world. They dream big and have created their very own dream come true–from the look and feel of the venue, to the staff they have serving clientele. They’re all friends, and all passionate about food and coffee.<\/p>\n

WAVE Community<\/h2>\n

Since opening in late January, WAVE<\/a> has been absolutely blown away by how well they have been received by the Hackney Locals. Hackney is certainly a community that is thriving with positivity and great dreams alike. WAVE<\/a> believes they literally could not have chosen a better place to be situated and still have to pinch themselves every now and then to make sure this is a dream come true, not just a dream.<\/p>\n

WAVE Values<\/h2>\n

WAVE<\/a> has always had very strong brand values that hold up the foundation of their business. They care a lot about the planet: as much of their packaging as possible is recyclable\/ biodegradable\/ eco-friendly. They believe that as a business they are responsible for a tremendous amount of waste and have always made it important to utilize trusted waste systems. Currently they are working with The First Mile, whose company ethos is to make it easier to make businesses planet savers.<\/p>\n

WAVE Passion<\/h2>\n

The creators of WAVE<\/a> have always had their brand reflect their lives. WAVE<\/a> is a representation of who they are currently: We Are Vegan Everything<\/em>. WAVE<\/a> leaders feel a great responsibility as providers of food to offer sustainable, well sourced, vegan food to their customers. They know all of their suppliers, working with local businesses as possible, creating voluptuous, colorful, journey-filled meals.<\/p>\n

WAVE<\/a> is not just another cafe that has opened in London. It is years of passion, tears, laughter, friendship and achievement–all under one roof. You can feel it the second you walk through their door (or at least once you’ve sat on one of their swinging chair)s.<\/p>\n

The WAVE<\/a> team is excited that people want to eat their food, drink their coffee and spend the whole day with them.<\/p>\n

The founders & directors are Cait and Soph. WAVE<\/a> is open Mon-Fri 8am-6pm, Sat 9am-6pm, and Sun 10am-4pm.<\/p>\n
