FOAM<\/a> started as a, surprise surprise\u2026catering company (FOAM stands for “Fresh, Organic, and Meat-Free”). But in 2016, FOAM<\/a> opened the doors of its brand new ‘Health Food Hotspot’ in one of the hottest neighborhoods in The Hague. The Frederikstraat is a very lively street with all kinds of restaurant and cute little shops.<\/p>\n

FOAM<\/a> is a hip white vegan hotspot with a lovely garden where you can enjoy a great organic coffee, fresh juices and a delicious lunch or good breakfast. There is also a terrace in front of the restaurant, if you prefer to enjoy the hustle and bustle from the street.<\/p>\n

I really liked the way the restaurant is decorated, with crisp white walls and furniture and fresh flowers, vegetables and fruit on display. They also have a wide range of vegan cakes, pies and brownies.<\/p>\n

During our visit, my sister enjoyed a salad and I had a portobello burger with fresh mint-tea.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Portions are not that big but that just left some room for dessert! I had a lovely apricot and orange cake.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The whole menu is 100% plant-based and they say on their website that “all their food is prepared with a lot of love.” All dishes and drinks are also available to-go.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

FOAM<\/a> loves healthy and natural food and this means that everything they serve is largely biological, fresh, mainly regional and healthy.<\/p>\n

Vegetables play the main role in all their dishes and they specialize in gluten-free and vegan food.<\/p>\n

Overall, we can say that FOAM<\/a> serves good fresh vegan food, and has a very friendly staff, a nice atmosphere with cozy decor, lots of light and outdoor seating.<\/p>\n

Whenever you are in The Hague, make sure to make a stop at FOAM<\/a> in the Frederikstraat. Whether it is for a coffee and cake or lunch or both!<\/p>\n
