From a 1912 issue of the weekly London magazine \u00a0&#8211; The Sphere: An Illustrated Newspaper for the Home From the issue\u00a0of December 28th, 1912 Volume LI., No. 675 &#8230;on page 336 The\u00a0Sphere\u00a0was\u00a0founded\u00a0&amp;\u00a0owned by\u00a0Clement\u00a0King\u00a0Shorter. In\u00a0addition\u00a0to\u00a0founding\u00a0Sketch\u00a0and The Sphere, Clement\u00a0King\u00a0Shorter was\u00a0also\u00a0the\u00a0founder\u00a0of\u00a0The\u00a0Tatler. Arthur Watts (1883\u20131935) was an illustrator and artist who was killed in an air-plane crash over the Swiss Alps. His first drawing for Punch, the English humor magazine, was published in 1912 and his work continued to appear regularly until the time of his death.
