In Northern California, two exciting events are happening on Mother&#8217;s Day weekend (May 10th and 11th). The first event is Farm Sanctuary&#8217;s California Hoe Down, held at their Orland, California shelter. The event starts on Saturday morning (May 10th) and runs through Sunday afternoon (May 11th). The event features inspiring speakers, delicious vegan meals, and\u00a0best of all&#8230;time with the\u00a0animals! You can\u00a0learn more about the event by clicking here. If you&#8217;ve never visited Farm Sanctuary, boy are you in for a treat. Here is one of my favorite photos that\u00a0my husband\u00a0took on our last trip there (last fall).\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 And when my husband wasn&#8217;t looking&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;..I stole a kiss from Waylon!!!!! Our wonderful friends (Mike and Kerrie) work and live\u00a0there, and provide fabulous love and care to the animals. Their house borders the pig pasture.
