I just tried this nougat for the first time, with no expectations of anything other than a vegan-like version. Although it’s been years since I’ve had non-vegan nougat, and I must admit I doubt I remember what it “should” taste like or how the mouth feel should be when consuming nougat… This product is amazingly tasty! True, it is mostly empty calories, comprised of sugars, but it is also filled with some tasty nuts, macadamia and pistachio. They give a great flavor and offer some nutritional benefit to this candy delight. If you ever remember liking nougat, or even if you have no idea what it should be, try this treat, and let me know what you think! Super tasty, I can envision these as fabulous treats for any occasion…! Surprisingly, though, the nougat is not too sweet! Chewy, satisfying, great texture!
