This diverse city offers everything from alta-montaña views to skinny Spanish-style streets. But most importantly, they’ve got a fast-growing vegan scene and some restaurants in town that are seriously pushing beyond the boundaries of vegan coolness. While filming for the documentary series, I was working with two different vegan organizations in Barcelona. I also met up with a friend I’d made while backpacking through South America and we decided to hit the town and grab a bite to eat. Knowing that he’s not vegan, I wanted to find a good place that could whip up some impressive vegan eats so that I could show off how delicious it is to not eat animals.
