This small restaurant with 10 seats is run by a couple, and the food is 100% vegan. The menu is very simple, just a "teishoku," like a "menu of the day". The number of food portions is limited, so reservation is suggested. On weekends, it's first come-first-served basis. Large drink menu is large, and vegan sweets are available. The "teishoku" costs approx. 1280 yen on weekdays, and 1380 weekends (drinks extra).

Serves meat, vegan options available. All the menus are pre-fixed at this tatami-floor Buddhist cuisine restaurant. They have two menus which are vegan and they do have an English language menu. Options are the Shojinryori course (a total of 12 small dishes) which costs 3990yen or the Shojinhonzen course (a total of 16 small dishes) which costs 5775yen. Located in the Meiji-kan very close to the Shrines with a bus stop right in front of it; buses won't go later than 5pm.

The owners speak limited English, but there is an English menu marking with items can be vegetarian. Confirmed operating as of Jan 2017. Directions: walk up the main street from train station for 15 minutes, keep eye out for the restaurant on the left side of the street, there's a picture of a samurai on the building's front.
