We happened to get there just 45 minutes before they closed. We were still invited in and welcomed in a very friendly way. The owner gives recommendations and confirmed that everything is vegan and for years. They make most of their beancurd themselves and it tastes great. So many different varieties! Try the fresh mushrooms as they taste great!
We were the last and only customers but the place was busy still, because the whole family and staff were busy forming moon cakes for the next day mid-autumn celebrations. Right in the restaurant area. This was a welcome glimpse into how they do most of the things by hand.
Be prepared to be seated on a big table with others as they only have few small tables. Or get there around 9pm, which I can only recommend because of the friendly atmosphere of the family and staff preparing for the next day.
The food is basic Cantonese and local food. Nothing fancy but well executed. We enjoyed our stay very much and already promised to come back when we are in Singapore next time.Pros: Very friendly staff, Handmade yummy food, Fresh mushrooms and beancurd
