Not for Us

We were in Morelia for a few days and stayed right around the corner from their centro location. It just never worked out for us here. The one time we caught them open it was packed, every table was full and they had no vegan offerings.

Pros: location, vegetarian food

Cons: hours, tiny, no vegan food

Simple y barrato

Para 33 pesos te dan una hamburguesa gigante. No la mejor de mi vida pero por el precio esta bien.
Cerca de la catedral y museos.

Pros: Barrato y centrico

a good feed for struggling vege types

We were in the artisan's market and we saw this place across the street so we popped in for a meal. The food was good and we were quite relieved to finally eat some fresh vegetables after a week of cheesy dishes in regular restaurants. It is not easy to find vegetarian food in Morelia and the city is so worth visiting that I hope we can enjoy another meal when we return. Nothing fancy about the decor, but the service is golden.

Pros: good selection of dishes in buffet

Cons: a little confusing. we finally figured out that yo

delicious and downtown

Very attractive cafe atmosphere with street level and upstairs gallery. Staff are friendly and thoughtful espc if this is your first time. The all you can eat buffet has standard items like pasta salad, chilled fruit, leaf salad, rice, beans, soup, then 3 or so different specialities of the day, soy based meat substitute with vegetables, casseroles, Mexican favorites (from chili rellenos to taquitos and vegetable tostadas) and international standards (such as stuffed small zucchini, rice pilaf topped with cheese). And did I mention it was all you can eat? Sample everything then go back to load up on what rang your chimes. You get served a large tumbler of agua de frutas, such as jamaica or guava.

Pros: clean, tasty, large variety

Cons: not much of a view
