Cosy vegan restaurant - Edit
Veg and Veg is a really cute restaurant not too far from Turin's National Museum of Cinema. The food is really homely and tasty- we ordered gnocchi, lasagna, seitan escalopes, chocolate mousse and apple strudel.

It used to be great - Edit
I came here about three years ago and loved everything so I decided to take my partner this time. Sadly, I was disappointed by so many things I have to say I wouldn't come back next time I'm in Turin.
Read moreFirstly, everything was just really salty. The appetizers tasted nice but the portion was way too much for appetizers. The main course I ordered was ravioli with tomato sauce, and it had too much coriander or some sort of herb that made the dish quite bitter and unpleasant. My partner struggled to finish his main which was incredibly salty and too much.
We ordered the "light" course, which was 24 euros for three appetizers, primo or secondo, and dessert or coffee, and despite this looking like a good deal, they charged us extra 12 euros just for bread, two glasses of juice and water.
Pros: Lots of space, Large portions
Cons: Way too salty, Too much coriander (?)

Excellent restaurant! - Edit
We were four and got to taste a lot of things. The antipasti are very diverse and fresh, including lots of vegetables (try puntarelle, it's from southern Italy and not so common), incredible seitan dishes, quiche etc... I recommend to try more than one! I had delicious ravioli with algae, the seitan roast was also excellent. The deserts (strudel, mousse and pannacotta) were delicious but the portion sizes were a bit smaller. There are two different menus (light and intero) if you want to combine dishes. The service is very friendly! I was impressed by the taste of everything, each dish was at the same time not pretentious yet perfectly done and seasoned.

Not bad at all - Edit
Seitan slices with tartare sauce on it for a delicious starter. The vegan carbonara was very similar testing to the real thing. The ravioli tasted like it came out of a tin unfortunately. 10 min walk outside the centre.

Almost perfect - Edit
The food was excellent, some of the best in the city, and the atmosphere relaxed. Unfortunately the service was slow, very slow. The restaurant was fairly quiet (my partner and I were the only ones in the restaurant when we first arrived) but the time it took for each course to arrive was very long, which was a shame because, as I mentioned above, the food was excellent.

Quite nice - Edit
We visited in August. It was very quiet but had a nice atmosphere inside. The woman working there was very friendly even though we didn't really understand each other's languages! I had the carbonara which was nice but maybe a bit stodgy. My mum had another kind of pasta which was nice, but nothing outstanding. My dad had the moussaka which was OK but basically just tomatoes in a pot - a bit boring to be brutally honest! Not like real moussaka. Nevertheless, I did enjoy the meal. I was too full for dessert but they did look good. I would recommend coming here to eat, it's great that Turin has so many places for vegans!!!

Excellent little find. - Edit
It was Ferragosto and we were concerned that we wouldn't be able to find anywhere to eat, let alone a vegan place, but we were over the moon to find an establishment as vegan as it was authentic. The staff were as helpful as they could despite the language barrier and we both had a sumptuous candlelit feast that left us in desperate need of a walk to work off - fortunately the restaurant was relatively close to the river and provided an excellent evening stroll.
Read moreI opted for the intero which consisted of three starters, a first and second course plus a desert or coffee for €30. I literally could not finish my second course - I'm a 6'2" man so consider that while ordering!
I had a tofu and avocado salad, seitan ham, a mushroom pastry parcel, then carbonara with seitan bacon, followed by seitan scallops with roasted peppers and what I think were shallots. I would have gone for desert but my stomach refused and settled for espresso instead.
I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for vegan options, but with a budget.
Pros: authentic, excellent cuisine, helpful staff
Cons: a little pricey

Enjoyable experience - Edit
We had some great food here. Well worth a visit if you're in Turin. We loved that everything on the menu is vegan. It's such a treat to have so many choices. We will be going back again at least once more before we leave.

Nice staff - Edit
Friendly staff and a simple menu. Reasonably priced. I had the ravioli and it was lovely. The starter was a seitan 'sausage' chopped up with tartar sauce and although it was nice was nothing special.

Lovely place, lovely food. - Edit
I loved it here, the ravioli was amazing and the service was very friendly. It's also in a great location for tourists being a short walk from the film museum, but on a nice quite circus. The interior is nice too. If I go back to Turin, this will be at the top of my list.

Our best food experience in Turin - Edit
We found that place by coincidence and it was by far the best place where we've eaten in Turin. We got to try vegan versions of traditional Italian dishes and everything felt really homemade and fresh, so tasty! The owner was really friendly and speaks many languages. She gave a warm and welcoming impression. This place is a must if you want to try traditional Italian cuisine!

Lovely staff, nice environment, great selection of products in the shop, and the food was very tasty and filling, doing a very good job of replicating traditional Italian cuisine.
