Loved this deli, but they sold it 😞

This vegan friendly deli was such a blessing to our neighborhood with their welcoming owners & employees and delicious vegan choices. A monthly vegan soup featured every Friday was always organic and delicious. I will miss Deb, Bob, Kim & Ella, Best of Luck to these beautiful people who touched our lives with their smiles and great food! Also will miss all the meaningful wall decorations I always enjoyed reading.

Here's the Mom & Pop you should be supporting.

Looks like your standard small business deli, but the staff makes you feel right at home. The were extremely accommodating to my Vegan requests and even gave me the heads up when I choose a desert that had an animal product in it. I had The West Coast w/o the Turkey, a chopped salad, and a Vegan Soup of the Day(can't remember the name). The portions were great and tasted delicious. Highly recommend.

Pros: Family atmosphere , Great Food, Accommodating.

Cons: Limited Vegan Options.

Amazing Little Gem

The best place around here by far! Having driven past it hundreds of times I finally decided to order. First, the atmosphere reminded me of my house, how un-staged it was, and I love that-not a fan of put together places that try hard. Second, the Man and the Woman behind the counter made me feel so welcomed and were ecstatic I was a new customer, they rang a bell and everything, plus informed me there are other vegan options I just have to call and ask aside from the menu. Now, the food! I got the Ballard on pumpernickel, due to them being out of the bread it was traditionally on, and it was phenomenal! I was nervous when I saw her take it off the press because it looked extremely cheesy, but the way the ingredients were distributed, I barely noticed the cheese, which I love. I then got the Jamaican Jerk Chicken Soup, and since I am a transitioning Vegetarian I was nervous about the chicken, but it was easy to pick out. I was also expecting a greasy type of soup broth but it was so fresh and clean, and the sweet potato was such an interesting additive. Definitely adore this place and will be coming back fluently for lunch!☺️

Pros: Sweetest People, Plenty of Vegetarian and Vegan options

Great food

Checked the place out and they had a very tasty Lentil soup that was Vegan and a cabbage peanut butter salad that was amazing. The owner came out and introduced herself, very friendly folks. Will definitely be going back for more Vegan treats.

Surprising variety

This deli which sells boars head sandwiches also offers some gluten-free vegan selections that are satisfying and full of healthy ingredients.

Pros: protein-rich pseudograins, detoxifying herbs, nutrient dense

Cons: limited oil-free selections
