Everything great - Edit
Almost the entire menu can be veganized. And veganized well. Cool atmosphere inside. I have eaten there maybe five times now and had a great experience everytime. I want to try it all but I'm addicted to their "ribwich" and get that everytime now. The only lame thing is it will be on the more expensive side. For a drink and a meal that doesn't quite fill you up and a tip it'll be over thirty dollars.
Read morePros: Lots of options, Unique dishes , Yummy and cooked to perfection
Cons: More expensive than less.

It was okay, but expensive. Seemed like stuff I would make at home and I’m not a good cook haha.

Clear vegan options, serves meat - Edit
I mean, it depends on what you're looking for, but this place has been a staple in my restaurant experience. I'll reserve 5-star reviews for exclusively vegan restaurants, but this place is a high 4.

Best vegan huevos EVER - Edit
The tofu rancheros was the most delicious version of a huevos I’ve ever had, vegan or non vegan. The service was wonderful, and it was so nice to see so many vegan food and drink options on the menu. Love!

Underwhelming - Edit
The food was overpriced and worse than I can make it, the kale salad I ordered didn’t even have the dressing properly mixed. You need to massage kale to get the dressing into the leaves, but they left a big glob on top with a bunch of raw vegetables- mostly red onion. I ate it because I didn’t want something heavy before bed, and my bf didn’t want to kiss me all night. Awful

Would give a 5*! - Edit
We came here for brunch and the first thing that’s incredible about this place is the fact that there are just as many vegan items on the menu as non vegan. This place does a vegan omelette made out of polenta with a vegan cheese and you can pick up to three toppings from a pretty good list of items which includes a good few meat substitutes. We got a bulging plate of food as well with loads of other things on the plate that were included! Would definitely recommend this place for anyone!

Great food! - Edit
The vegan food options at Wallflower are clearly labeled. Although this place has limited parking on street, it was worth it as we didn’t have to walk far. The food is tasty, I had the Vegan Benny on two occasions. The prices are lower than other vegan places in town, but the portions are small. I liked not walking away stuffed so for me the portion was just right. No wait during breakfast hour even on the weekend was nice too.

Comfort food - Edit
Their motto is “everyone can eat here” and it shows. A nice change of pace from trendy diners where they understand dietary restrictions but kind of snub you when you ask to be accommodated. At Wallflower options reign supreme! The menu comes in two halfs - the meat half and the vegan half, plus most everything is gluten-free. Yay! If you want a burger, stroganoff, wrap, pasta, chilli fries, or other diner staple this is the place for you.

Delicious Vegan Brunch - Edit
My boyfriend and I decided to go for brunch on our way out of Vancouver. So glad we did!
Read moreTo start, we shared one of their specials as an app - a jalapeño queso and bean drip served with tortilla chips. So good!
Then for brunch I ordered the Eggless Omelette and chose veggie sausage, onion and mushrooms as my three “toppings”. It was super good - the polenta and vegan cheese came together for a really fluffy and unique tasting dish. My boyfriend ordered the Roasted Tomato and Spinach Benny (vegetarian) and couldn’t stop raving about how delicious it was. Their sauce was unique and almost cheesy, where hollandaise sauce is usually tangy. He really enjoyed it.
The restaurant itself is pretty small, and we went at noon on a Sunday. Even then, there wasn’t longer than a 10 minute wait at any point, so it seemed to move really fast. That being said, I probably wouldn’t go if I had more than 4 in my party due to limited space.

I came here with my family for brunch before a long day out and was pleased with their portion sizes... I got a BBQ Tofu Scramble and it was very filling and well-prepared. The service was also wonderful and our waitress was cheerful and helpful!

I love going to the wallflower for any occasion, it a wonderful spot for brunch, lunch, and dinner with beer! The service is always so sweet! Perfect location though at times the crowd can be a bit overwhelmingly typical Main Street hipster (nothing inherently wrong with that they just travel in herds). Overall great place, I just with they would go veg, they do vegan do well! Often when I go to the wallflower with my non-veg friends they order vegan food.

Quite a few vegan options - Edit
It’s not always easy to find a vegan breakfast that is open early so I was pleased to find this one open on a Sunday morning. We waited a few minutes for a table. It had lots of savoury items for breakfast and I tried the vegan benny. It had a nice of flavour and it was filling. Friendly service too.

I chose this restaurant for being somewhat close to the subway and being open early. I ate a vegan omelette which was delicious. This eatery has many vegan options that are not just salad. Too bad it still serves meat.

Chill Atmosphere with Plenty of Vegan Options - Edit
This is a nice diner that offered both vegan and non-vegan options, making it more accessible for mixed company dining. The vegan menu is large, offering many plant-based takes on traditional diner food. There were gluten-free options and bread available as well.

The place definitely is not the cheapest but I decide to check it out anyway. Good Vegan Options, Tasty - Edit
While visiting Vancouver I ate at Wallflower for dinner and brunch. They have plenty of vegan comfort and/or junk food options that are good, especially if you need to nibble while having a couple of drinks or are out with non-vegans. Their vegan nachos come in a portion that could feed 6 people and the brunch is super tasty (I like the tofu benny). For a place that is not 100% vegetarian, I found it to be pretty good.

I've been to the Wallflower a few times and every time it's just okay. They have great drinks and a cool vibe but the food is a little lacklustre. It's nice to have vegan and gluten free options but they could improve on them big time. The gluten free buns are mealy and dry.
