Cheap and tasty!

If you're on a tight budget and want a quick fix to eat and rice & beans is getting real old for ya, this sweet lady has some really tasty little corn tamales you can get for 50 cents each! She has a few plates so you can eat under the shade of her stall if you like. I would get like 4 or 6 of them, cover them in her homemade salsa, and I would chop up an avocado over then that I'd buy from her stall as well ($1.50 for a big one!). When learning we were vegetarian, she offered to make some big veggie tamales in the banana leaf style. Those were $2 each and really tasty. But watch out, I bit into a whole habaƱero chili in one!!! wow!!!!! You might want to tell her not to add the chilis. And her fruit juices are tastier than all the other places that sell the drinks.

Pros: Cheap, Tasty, Friendly conversation
Cons: Ask for the veggie tamales 1 day advance
