Austrian specialities and bowls - Edit
In a country with so limited veg*n options, this restaurant is a nice breath of oxygen! It offers both "twisted" Austrian specialities (we tried the vegan schnitzel) and Buddha bowls. It may not be the best food ever but extremely decent. Service is discreet and nice.

Vegan Sweet Box for 2 - Edit
Wir haben die süße vegan Box für zwei Personen über Lieferando bestellt. Die Liegekosten waren im Preis mit inbegriffen. Die Box hat 40€ gekostet und war somit ziemlich teuer. Man muss aber sagen, dass auch wirklich viel drin ist. Für zwei Personen ist es mehr als genug und wir werden bestimmt noch die nächsten Tage daran essen. Die Donuts, Brownies, den Bananenpudding und die Waffeln fanden wir besonders lecker. Das Müsli und der Chinapudding waren in Ordnung. Der Cookiedough war leider eher ein Flop, ziemlich schwer und nicht wirklich lecker. Auch das Bananenbrot war eher etwas trocken aber trotzdem lecker. Insgesamt kann man das durchaus mal machen, wenn man sich etwas besonderes gönnen möchte. Man muss aber damit rechnen, dass nicht alles gleichgut schmeckt und sich überlegen, ob der Preis es einem Wert ist.

The green garden = vegan masterchefs! - Edit
I have no words. This is one of the most special vegan cafes I have ever visited. Last visited in summer 2019 and was blown away by the food. Presentation was ace, portions are MASSIVE and safe to say the banana and berry pancakes I had were incredible! The vegan ice cream bar on site was also very much enjoyed. I am an avid follower on Instagram of The Green Garden and their posts always leave me drooling! Really hope I can visit them soon again in the future!

First visited in 2016 (twice) where my friend and I were blown away by the quality of the food and the friendliness of Julia and her staff. Revisited in 2019 when I was in Salzburg with my family and were thrilled to see how the business had grown over time. We went for brunch and ordered Sven and Ali Baba savoury "open" sandwiches. Absolutely recommend. My sister went for the pancake with berries and banana and loved it. Top tip is to go on an empty stomach so you can make the most of what is on offer. I believe they are also catering for weddings and events as well. Adjacent ice cream parlour is great too (if you have any space left!) Book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Our cocktails were wonderful. The BBQ Cauliflower tacos are a MUST have. The Fish and Chips was a little too "fishy" tasting for us. The brownie sundae was delightful! Wonderful ambiance. Great place all around.

Geschmacklich hervorragend! Die Karfiol Tacos und das Risotto waren himmlisch. Auch der Flammkuchen sehr lecker. Service ist freundlich. Einzig der Schokobrownie war kein Highlight, war oke, hat aber schon mal besser geschmeckt.

Very cozy restaurant with lots of vegan options and the food was good. We kind of stumbled upon this place coming down from the abbey. The matcha ginger iced tea I had was absolutely delicious. I had the Asian winter bowl for dinner which was good but not the best - could've used more flavour. My parents both got the tortellini (vegetarian not vegan) which they were raving about the entire meal and said it was delicious. We got the brownie for dessert which was delicious as well as the ice cream that came with it - only criticism is that it would've been better warmed up and a little bit softer. The wait staff was also very friendly although service was pretty slow.

Read moreShe was very friendly, but she brought our dinner before my boyfriend finished our greeting from the kitchen (which was vegetarian not vegan, make sure to ask!). For dessert it took really long after she came back to get our order.
I would give 5 stars for food, but 1 star minus for the total experience.

many varieties of vegan ice cream - Edit
19 flavors of ice cream are sold adjacent to the main restaurant. I was told by the proprietor the hours for the ice cream shop are 2pm to 10pm daily, but only if the weather is good (sunny). Please see a photo of the ice cream case I submitted. We found the ice cream to be excellent, although higher priced than other stores.
