The concept of this restaurant is good, a gourmet burger joint which allows you to customise your own burger. While it is not a pure vegetarian/vegan burger joint it still offers a variety of vegan/vegetarian topping, sauces and sides. They only offer one type of vegetarian/vegan patty and bun, which is the tofu patty and oatmeal bun.
The ambience of the place is great, the ingredients were fresh but the whole experience was brought down by the quality of the Tofu Patty. The patty resembles a veggie patty made with tofu. It was deep fried, making it greasy and oily. It was dull on its own, felt like it needed to be complimented by topping or sauce to give it a flavour kick.
By the end of the day, the food made us feel sluggish and ill. It could be attributed to the oil they used in cooking the patty. It was either reused oil or could be cross contaminated with meat products. We couldn't be sure.
This is the sort of place for a good and yum hangover cure. Perfect for easing those headaches, unsettled stomachs and all the other unpleasant side effects of having too much fun.
Oh! We also ordered their sweet potato and potato fries, and they turned out pretty well. Yum!
