Best Thai Food in NJ
Posted on 03 / 12 / 2010
We drive up from the Trenton area almost every week to eat at Thai Kitchen III. The host and waitresses all know us by now and provide us with terrific food and service.
Our typical meal consists of a Tom Kha Puk soup (vegetarian version of Tom Kha Gai, which they will make for you large or small even though it is not on the menu), a Thai Salad (large or small), and a couple of curries, usually the Gang Dang, Mus-sa-mun (both red), Pra Raam (peanut) or Gang Kiew Wan (green) which we get with vegetables and tofu. A side of the coconut rice is also a must, especially with the Gang Dang. They will also give you plenty of Jasmine RIce. Speaking of jasmine, we always enjoy a pot of Jasmine Tea for two while dining at Thai Kitchen III.
In addition to the above items,we can vouch for the Tao Hou Todd (fried bean curd) and the fried Spring Rolls (complementary at lunch!) off of the appetizer menu, and the Jay Penang (vegetarian duck curry), Pad Thai, and Pad See Eue for dinner.
As one can deduce from the above review, Thai Kitchen III is an extremely vegetarian/vegan friendly restaurant, while also satisfying the omniviorous crowd.
