I love Sushiko! - Edit
I have been there dozens of times, and I can't believe I haven't left a good review yet.
Read moreI've never seen so many unique vegan options. I love that it's a separate menu, and all the ingredients are clearly listed.
My favorites are the JVL roll, the buffalo roll, and the pirates roll (although every one I've ever had here has been delicious).

SO many choices! - Edit
I would give them one star for each vegan sushi option on the menu… but can’t give 50! Yes 50! Restaurant is a bit… well worn. But servers were great, food was delicious, and beautiful😄would definitely go back! (Kids would like the dragon roll presentation with glowing cube and dry ice at the head😉

Vegan sushi - Edit
The amount of vegan options they have here is unbelievable. They have an entire separate vegan menu! My wife and I frequent here and love everything we have tried. It is so nice to be able to go to a sushi restaurant and not have to just get a sweet potato roll. The rolls they come up with are so creative and they even have vegan cream cheese! 10 out of 10 recommend.

Very vegan sushi spot. - Edit
I love this place so much. It’s one of the shining staples of Jacksonville’s impressive vegan options.
Read moreYou’ll feel very welcomed when you walk in and are immediately asked if you would like a vegan menu. You’ll get a complimentary miso soup once you’re seated. The separate vegan menu is HUGE with a wide variety of unique and classic sushi options featuring plenty of vegetables and fruits but also various vegan meats and an incredible spicy mayo. Whether you want something light or deep-fried, whole foods or meaty, spicy or refreshing, you’ll find something to love. I think my personal favorite roll here is the Buddha Roll, but their Jacksonville Vegan Lovers roll is a close second. You can always see a container of Tofutti behind the glass at the sushi station up front, which I love.
Everything comes out looking absolutely beautiful. The people there are all so friendly, too. One time I went in and mentioned in passing that it was my birthday and they surprised me with some unique off-menu dish by the chef.
Pros: Separate vegan menu, Huge vegan menu, Friendly

Just average - Edit
I got Tofu fried rice, fried oreo and the Yasai gyoza steamed. The rice was thick and a little more on the mushier side than I liked. It didn’t have much flavor, just tasted like rice that was fried with vegetables and soy sauce or something. My kids liked the fried oreos. The gyoza was ok, I may have liked it better fried.

Maybe you'll like it! - Edit
I got three different rolls and I didn't like any so I might have just ordered the wrong thing for my test because there were HUNDREDS of options. My friends liked all of their dishes so take mine with a grain of salt.

My absolute favorite! - Edit
Sushiko is easily my favorite restaurant in Jacksonville! They have a seperate vegan menu that is incredible! They even ask when you walk in if you want a vegan menu or regular. They have everything I could ever want and more- vegan chicken, shrimp, cream cheese, shrimp sauce, spicy mayo, fish, pork fried rice, you name it! They have like fifty vegan sushi rolls available plus entrees. I've eaten at Sushiko many times now and haven't even gotten close to trying all of the amazing vegan food they offer! I would absolutely give this restaurant five stars if I could!

They stay busy - Edit
Sooo many choices. Vegan protiens are inconsistent in dishes so don't expect the same thing even when ordering the same dish. I'm a picky eater so.. I wasn't impressed. Maybe jax best vegan sushi option.

A great please to eat with non-vegans as they have something for everyone. The vegan menu is huge and everything I’ve tried has been delicious! Definitely a treat though as some items are a bit pricey.

A MUST if you’re visiting jax - Edit
This place is a gem. They have their own separate vegan menu with 50 different rolls to choose from. They have vegan pork, eel sauce, cream cheese- you name it. I don’t recall what my favorite rolls are. Menu is so huge I never remember what I tried last time. I’ve never made it past the sushi menu but they have several other vegan dishes as well and vegan desserts! I’m always so stuffed I have yet to make it to the dessert menu.

Great Experience! - Edit
Small, intimate restaurant with friendly staff.
Read moreThey asked right away if anybody in our party were vegan, and they handed us a completely separate menu! We have never seen a more expansive sushi menu, and the entree options were pretty great as well.
My wife and I both got the miso soup, followed by the Garlic Roll, the Icy Veggie Roll, the Banh Mi Roll and the Portobello Mushrooms Katsu Curry entree (all of which we shared). It was plenty of food and all rather delicious. We're new to town and this was the first place we've been to since moving and we are so pleased we chose this place! Very vegan-friendly and we will definitely visit again.
Pros: Plethora of vegan options, Variety, Service
Cons: Small restaurant (make a reservation on weekend)

Amazing food - Edit
The food was amazing. we don't live that close to the restaurant so we ordered a lot of food. Appetizer was the rock shiitake tempura. Entrees ordered were tofu hibachi and the curry vegan chicken. I def recommend both and the fried rice is a must. We also go the buddha and dynamite rolls. Both are great but definitely get the dynamite. To end the night you have to get the fried oreos.
