Natural food store with an organic food cafe. Cafe has vegetarian and vegan panini sandwiches, salads, and other food. Store includes an organic grocery section. Open Mon-Sat 9:00am-6:00pm.
I didn't shop at the store, but it looked like most other small, natural food stores that you've ever been to. I was just there to grab a bite from the deli in the back.
The only real vegan option is the vegan BLT. It's solid. I got mine on sourdough. The "bacon" is store bought (I think he said Lightlife), but it's just what I needed on my way to the airport.
I got a salad on the side and they gave me all kinds of options when I asked for "veggies only." They actually offered me any vegetable that they had in the cafe... Pretty awesome.
Be aware that the cafe is not vegan and the workers there may be new to working with vegan options, but they certainly did a great job making sure I got what I needed.
A really small store with lots of vitamins and natural skincare. They offer some food section - it is more speciality items. They also have a deli in the back.
Great body care selection, but lacking on the vegan food - Edit
They had some vegan stuff like Beanitos chips, pasta sauce, and some frozen meals. They only had one kind of Tofurky. None of the desserts in the case were vegan, as the employee told us they are all made with heavy cream. The body care aisle is extensive though. They carry brands like Thayer, Derma e, and Andalou. Didn’t check out the cafe but a vegan BLT was advertised.
Was visiting family in NW LA -- which is not a vegan friendly area. This was a great place to stock up on supplies i.e. tofurky, organic items. Stopping here gave me something substantive to eat over the weekend. They had a deli, but the soy cheese wasn't vegan.
the cafe is in back of a fairly disorganized health food store. it's fabulous that this place even exists around here, but all the activity from the retail area made it hard to relax and enjoy the meal. the food (i had lentil soup) was fantastic, though the vegan options are slim. good for a quick bite or carry-out, but i wouldn't recommend sitting and eating there.

I wasn't blown away but I wasn't disappointed at the meal at the cafe. Could find much better. The store was great.

Great Health food place - Edit
Nice staff, tasty cafe and good deals. Definitely recommended to stock up on vegan healthy goodies, and grab a bite to eat at the cafe.
