I was pretty surprised when I've visited StemmerKuchl - they offer hearty German soups like grandma did it. But also Mediterranean, Oriental or specials. Everything is organic. You can have as much selfmade bread as you want. Tasted just wonderful! You can have it as spicy as you want and take it away or as most do: eat there (also outside seating with nice city life view).
Half of their soups are vegan, the staff was very friendly and knew about veganism and what's in their soups exactly.
Used to be one of three locations of the Muenchner Suppenkueche but became (more) independent in 2011 as far as I've heard there. Also told me they have vegan ice cream in summer and some other vegan specials.
Highly recommended! I wish more restaurants im Munich would be so open-minded to vegan options like this one. Of course: Could be more vegan options though.
Cons: busy at lunch break, vegan options could rotate faster, could be more vegan options
