Delicious and allergy/vegan friendly

This place is so awesome and the staff were so friendly! The menu has so many choices and serves breakfast all day! I’m vegan and have gluten/dairy/egg allergies and the staff were so accommodating. The gluten free vegan crepe batter is delicious - you’d never know it was GF or vegan. I got two different crepes (veggie and savory one with Nutella). No vegan cheese available for savory crepes but the pesto sauce is so good you don’t even miss the cheese. Highly recommend for vegans and non vegans alike!

Tea was the best

Food was okay, vegan options is a plus and the tea was the best part -vegan girlfriend. I liked everything tho as a non-vegan

Pros: Vegan options, Breakfast all day, Alcohol!!!

This place was rough

They ran out of vegan crepe batter so only my husband got one and the consistency was thick and dry like pita bread. I got the black bean "burger" and it was made from mashed black beans with no shape or form. When I lifted the burger half the "patty" plopped out of the back. This was the worst vegan food experience I've had in at least 5 years. Think restaurant attempt at vegan food 15 years.

Bland and dry vegan options.

Very friendly staff and a fun vibe. They do have some vegan options but they weren't great. The Vegan Monster is very dry and not satisfying enough for something with the word 'monster' in it. The Classic Black Bean burger is also bland and falls apart super easy. This place seems great for omnivores.

One bland vegan option

There’s only one vegan option at this restaurant, and while my hopes were high because it had seitan in it AND vegan pesto Mayo, they were apparently out of the Mayo (and didn’t ask if I’d like another condiment instead) and the seitan was basically croutons. The crepe didn’t have any flavor-just overcooked veg-and was overall disappointing. Good sweet potato fries, though.

Pros: Good sweet potato fries

Cons: Bland, Only one vegan option

Okay spot if going with non-vegs

I’d go back here if I was with non-vegans, but I wouldn’t go again by myself or with other vegans. The one marked vegan option- the vegan monster leaves a lot to be desired. The seitan is not good. The entire crepe had a maybe tablespoon of vegetables. Customizing is was difficult as the server got confused, which was frustrating but not the end of the world. Honestly this would be a great vegan option if they made some minor changes to the menu, because the buckwheat base crepe is really good.

Best vegan pancakes

I love their vegan monster pancake and their veggie monster with vegan sunflower pesto, Roasted peppers, eggs, onion, cheese and spinach. Always served with a small salad that adds that nice bit of acid to the dish. Excellent service and choices.

Nice brunch option

They have two vegan options, clearly marked on the menu board. Was pretty good, though I didn't love their seitan.

average

There is one vegan option (the vegan monster crepe). Portion size is pretty small for the price. It's also a small place so be prepared to have to stand and wait for a table to open up after you've eaten.

Awesome Vegan Brunch

Visited Montpelier for the weekend and had an amazing brunch at Skinny Pancake. The Vegan Monster Crepe was delicious, fresh and amazing. The Bloody Mary was also quite good. Staff were super friendly and more than ready to tell you the vegan options (of which there are many). Atmosphere is warm and cozy. Highly recommend and would definitely go back....

Pros: good vegan food!, friendly staff, nice vibe

Cons: expensive

Fab Vegan Monster Crepe

Really great joint. Large portions, salad with most crepes. One vegan soup daily. We had the Carrot Ginger Kale that was excellent. Great service. Nice wine. Local root beer and cider.

The crepe is made of buckwheat so it is gluten free. We really liked the staff and the ambiance is great for a quick lunch or dinner. Most tables seat 2-4.

It is connected to a large building which shows local art from kids.

Pros: Excellent food, Friendly, laid back, Convenient downtown locale

Cons: Noisy, Limited choices
