LOVE SEOUL FOOD

I can’t overstate how much I love this place! Most of the menu is vegan (and labeled as such), and I’ve never had anything that wasn’t delicious. Everything is so fresh and lovingly prepared. I love the jeju buns and fried tofu chicken rice bowl. Can’t go wrong here!

Pros: Labeled vegan options, Absolutely delicious, Healthy AND tasty

Cons: Very expensive

So glad I can enjoy Korean food again

A lot of delicious veggie takes on classic Korean dishes, plus they have some nice fusion dishes like too. The dining area is super clean and cute!

Pros: Hip decor, Fresh ingredients

Cons: Expensive, Parking limited

My favorite restaurant nearby

We go here at least once a week and I usually get the bibimbap bowl with bulgogi tofu and shitakes but also love their Korean fried "chicken" which is made from tofu and covered in gochugang sauce. This latter is their specialty dish and we've tried it as an app, a sandwich and in a rice bowl with cucumber kimchi and all are fantastic. Have also tried the Nirvana mix tacos, Grandma's dumplings, Cauliflower japchae noodles, and scallion pancakes - everything is good. Their menu has more vegan options than meat so there is plenty to choose from. We've been getting takeout for the last few years but they recently opened their bright and cozy, plant-filled dining room up again.

Pros: Most everything can be made vegan, Lots of great options

Looking forward to another meal.

I am excited to go back here! There were a lot of vegan options. It was hard to pick one. The atmosphere makes for a cute, welcoming hangout.

Best Kimchi!

Korean and Korean fusion with many vegan options. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and will help vegans out. Even has vegan cookies/dessert at times. The food is delicious and I especially like their many choices of homemade kimchi, several of which are vegan. For me the rice bowls are the way to go and the choice of toppings is great. You can even get a jar of kimchi to take home!

Good food, but look at the menu online first!

Good food! Kind of Korean but with American/Tex-Mex influences.

The menu board only really has some of their offerings, while others are written on various chalk boards. So I was a little disoriented and wished I had studied the menu a bit more. I was also disoriented because there were only two staff members making, serving and taking orders, so I wasn't sure how to order and had to wait quite awhile to do so. Not sure if my experience was common, they apologized for how busy they were later.

This is kind of in a gas station and signage says you can use the gas station parking. Parking in Wheaton can seem slightly hectic, but something usually turns up quickly- just be prepared to pay the meter.

Flavor Explosion!

Wow! I am not really familiar with Korean food so this was a pleasant surprise. Many vegan options and everything is clearly labeled which reduces my anxiety. I seriously enjoyed every single bight! Some of the best food I've ever had.

Pros: lots of vegan choices, delicious, large portions

Cons: bad parking

Love This Place!

Too bad Happy Cows only allows 4 cows max for non-100% veggie restaurants. This is mostly veggie and lots if great vegan. The music is awesome too. Lots of CSNL, Byrds, Beatles, Dead, etc.

Pros: Lots Of Vegan, Tasty And Varied, Music

Fast fresh flavors of fusion

Stuck in Silver Spring and seeking Seoul? This place is quick and tasty, but it might seem more expensive than expected, but I feel it's one of the best vegan friendly choices in this area.

Sprouts, kimchi, tofu, avocado, soba, seaweed, sticky rice and spicy sauce blend well together as an unorthodox bibimbap or burrito. Maki rolls are also available, along with specials! The staff really know what's vegan- it is comforting that they make the kimchi vegan!!! Just ask!

However, the pancakes and baked goods are not vegan. Still, a great and fun choice in Silver Spring! You can park in the gas station lot or on the street. You can eat inside, and decor is super cute!

Pros: Vegan friendly, Healthy, Flavorful!

Cons: Location odd
