Fancy folded Dosas

Posted on 11 / 24 / 2013

The food here is good and they give you plenty of it for a reasonable price. As others have stated the menu is clearly labeled, so ordering is super easy. We tried the pakora appetizer, which is more than enough for four people. The vegan thali was ok, the chana it came with was delicious, but our favorite here are the Dosas. The variety here is enormous and the presentation is pretty interesting. Of course the Mysore masala dosa is a favorite, and the vegetable dosa was very filling. The customer service is inconsistent, it ranges from indifferent to slightly helpful. Wish they would work on their service so it would be as good as the food.

Good, except for a few things

Posted on 07 / 08 / 2013

The food we ordered was good, it was just a few little things that annoyed us. As said, the menu has everything clearly marked that are vegan, gluten free, or ones that can be made vegan.

It is nice; however we made it clear when we got there that we were vegan to the waiter, we ordered a dish that was marked vegan, and the waiter said it came with yogurt. So we were puzzled by this, and just decided to not order that dish. It didn't make us comfortable that it was clearly marked vegan, not 'could be made vegan', and had yogurt in it.

The food was good, and we will return, but it was annoying.

One last thing was that we went during the week for dinner, and went to order naan, which to me is one of the most basic parts of indian dishes, and were told that they only have naan on weekend.

Pros: Lots of vegan dishes, Food is good
Cons: Are the vegan dishes really vegan?, TELL THEM YOU'RE VEGAN

Delicious and vegan friendly

I love that all the vegan menu items are marked as such. They also have a number of other labels too for those who watch their carb and fat intake. The foods here are always so fresh and so perfectly seasoned. Plus, the owners are so friendly and helpful.

Very vegan-friendly! Dishes that are vegan are clearly labeled. And a bonus: vegan thali - a very rare find! Definitely recommended!

Pros: vegan thali, vegan dishes clearly marked, friendly staff
