Cute & Cosy

This place was a nice find and I'm surprised there aren't more reviews on here because it was a really sweet little place with a fire burning and beautiful décor.

They might have changed it since the last person reviewed but there is no longer a separate vegan/vegetarian menu, but the vegan option was clearly labelled on the menu.

From what I gathered there was only one vegan option and that was a pizza with vegan cheese and veggies. It was a proper Italian-style thin-crust and it was delicious.

The staff were very friendly and offered to box up what I didn't eat (it was a pretty big pizza) so that was considerate and I love it when places do this.

Overall it was a nice place but not vegetarian/vegan friendly by a long shot. I would have loved more vegan options especially as it was all cooked there and then so it wouldn't have been much trouble - especially as they already have the vegan cheese at hand. My meat-eating friend was grateful for the break in veggie restaurants though.

Pros: cosy atmosphere, nice staff, real, Italian-style pizza

Cons: could be more vegan options

Very cozy place and tasty vegan pizza

It's a nice, cozy place in the heart of Old Riga (Vecriga) offering a number of Italian-style food options. They also have a separate vegetarian menu and recently started to offer vegan menu as well. I personally tried vegan pizza, it wasn't anything spectacular, but I was happy and satisfied with the result - it was nice, crunchy, thin, tasty, big pizza with lots of veg offered. I figured out that the chef is Italian, so no surprise that pizza reminded me of something I tried in Italy :)
Overall - nice and fulfilling, though a little more on an expensive side. The surroundings, however, were really cozy (fireplace, candles etc.)

Pros: Lots of vegetarian options, Vegan cheese options (eg. pizza, pasta), Very cozy atmosphere

Cons: A little expensive
