Amazing vegan shawarma

We love this place. The owner is so knowledgeable about veganism — excellent falafel. Always a hit. Deserves 5 stars if you ask me 🙏🏻

Amazing Veg Shawarma

I loveee Sababa!! I dream about the vegan shawarma. All the salads are vegan, and the staff and owner are veeeery knowledgeable about what is vegan and what isn’t. The fries are seasoned very well (beware, the sauce they come with has honey, so I usually ask for tahini instead!). The avi palmer is also my favorite drink🤩 They also pay their workers fairly& thus do not accept tips, so the prices can seem high but keep that in mind.

amazing israeli food

i’m not too familiar with israeli cuisine, but this blew me away! we came in for the watermelon lemonade special of the day(WHICH WAS SO REFRESHING AND TASTY WOW !!!!) but we ended up also getting the vegan shawarma sandwich. we were concerned that it wasn’t vegan at first because it tasted like... not vegan? 10/10 food and watermelon lemonade

Hit the Spot

We had the veggie shawarma, which was amazing and complex. Mixed with the daily salads, hummus and tahini it was a wonderful meal after a 7 hour road trip. Only issue was that they were out of the other two vegan options (falafel and schnitzel).

Pros: Complex flavors, Vegan salads , Big portions

Cons: Out of options

Tasty food

The vegan schnitzel is recommended, although they seem to run out of it fairly quickly. They offer multiple vegan salad and side options. Falafel is also pretty good.

Pros: Large portions, Tasty food, Customer loyalty program

Cons: Small space

Fantastic Falafel

We've been to this place twice and loved it both times - I can't wait to go again. They are very nice, their menu is clear, they have several vegan options, and they are good about telling you what ingredients are in each dish, in case of food allergies. I love the Falafel - it has a great texture (a little crunchy), and they serve it with about 4 little salads, hummus, and a side. My most favorite thing is their pepper relish/sauce - AMAZING!!! My husband is a Carniv. and he likes it that meat is available, so it's a good compromise spot for us.

Pros: inexpensive, quick, and fresh

Very vegan-friendly!

The owners are literally the sweetest couple ever! Told them I was vegan and though they are not vegans themselves they were very knowledgeable about veganism and even the history of veganism in Isreal! So I got a bit of an education myself which was cool. There are literally signs posted around the restaurant stating that if you are vegan, vegetarian, or have food allergies they can accommodate you. Love this place and when you eat here you definitely get a feel that the staff and owners really care and it comes through in their amazing food.

vegan dishes include: veggie schnitzel, vegan swarma, falafel, and a variety of delicious fresh salads with pita. They also have these delicious Israeli chocolate bars that happen to be vegan!

Pros: Great staff and owners , Delicious food, Accommodates food allergies/diets

Cons: Serves meat
