I've been to this restaurant 3 times, and the food was always good. Basic food, but good. Get there no later than about 1245pm to get a table at lunch time because it gets very crowded with the shoppers from Risso Shopping Center (located across the street). It's also in the same block as another vegetarian restaurant as well. There are several levels here, so go upstairs one or two levels if the ground floor tables are taken. They follow the general pattern of the set meal of the day that you find in Peru: a drink, an appetizer/salad, and the main plate with a few different items. Everything is in Spanish, but if needed you can always point to what someone else is eating at another table. The people here are very friendly and will probably be amused that there's a foreigner in this place that's filled with locals. The lunch costs 8 Soles as of August 2014.
Cons: Can get crowded around 100pm lunch time
