Good food, nice atmosphere

Overall this place was pretty good. It´s near a university, so there are lots of students at lunch time. You should arrive by 100pm to assure yourself of a seat. They do have dairy and eggs in some dishes, but many things are vegan. As of May 2015, the meal of the day is 10 soles. There were 3 choices for the appetizer, then 2 choices for the main plate, and it came with bread, drink and dessert. There is also a full menu you can order from if the meal of the day doesn't appeal to you. The food was good and basic; similar to other veggie places in town. They also give a choice of white or whole grain rice, but there was too much rice on the plate and not enough veggies, in my opinion. You can sit inside, or outside under a canopy. Recommended if you are going to be in the San Miguel neighborhood, but I wouldn't make a special trip from other parts of town.

Pros: Brown rice, Good salad, Good flavor overall

solid food

I was pleasantly surprised to see a lot of locals hanging out here; surprising as most peruvians are not vegetarians. Food was good, I especially liked the tamalito.
The only problem was it was out of the way in terms of a tourist destination though a taxi was easy enough to take...

Pros: good food, friendly staff

Cons: out of the way
