Good raw food

Tasty raw food. However, there was no English menu when I was there, nor is there a menu in Lithuanian on their website. So although they were happy to translate for me, since the entire menu had to be translated, I only asked them to translate a few dishes for me. It would be good, if they would put a menu in Lithuanian at least on their website, so people could use google translate to figure out what they offer. Otherwise it's just too cumbersome to ask about every dish. I chose the raw carrot soup and sushi, mainly because I could easily understand what they were. The other dishes I could easily understand were the raw pastas (I believe they have more than one type) which I have tried before at other raw restaurants and didn't really like. They also have other dishes, but they weren't easily identifiable to me, and I didn't feel like asking them to translate so many things. It's one thing for instance if a restaurant has a daily changing lunch menu which has two main courses and two soups, that need to be translated; well that's pretty easy to translate, but the entire menu is different. I had the raw carrot soup which was good, but really resembled more a carrot drink than a soup, as usually soups are bit thicker than drinks. I have tried raw soups at other raw restaurants, and they were a thicker consistency and I could tell they were soups, not drinks, so the carrot soup is something, they could improve on. The raw sushi was good, and the smoothie was also good. All in all, it was a good experience and a raw good restaurant showing that raw does not have to mean tasteless, bland food.
Unfortunately they only have an a la carte menu and no lunch specials or discounts at lunch time, which is the same policy as the other vegetarian restaurants in Kaunas. It might be good, considering that Kaunas is cold in the winter to offer food warmed to no more than 45 degrees which is what some other raw food restaurants in other cities offer.
tasty food, friendly staff
no English menu, soup is like a drink
